The REPENTANT spirit

 Isaiah 66:1-2

King James Version

66 Thus saith the Lord, 

The heaven is my throne, 

and the earth is my footstool: 

where is the house that ye build unto me? 

and where is the place of my rest?

2 For all those things hath mine hand made, 

and all those things have been, saith the Lord: 

but to this man will I look, 

even to him that is poor 

and of a contrite spirit, 

and trembleth at my word.

In a world gone its own way, all the more we need to be aware.

Especially if ministers of GOD call us to repent.

And when you're a true child of GOD, you recognize such GOD-given moments, when your sin is called out.

Sure, the Bible says:

Romans 3:23

King James Version

23 For all have sinned, 

and come short of the glory of God;

But the true born again doesn't hide behind that verse.

There is no excuse to remain in sin, especially if our sins are called out by messengers of GOD.

GOD commanded:

Leviticus 11:45

King James Version

45 For I am the Lord 

that bringeth you up 

out of the land of Egypt, 

to be your God: 

ye shall therefore be holy, 

for I am holy.

JESUS commanded:

Matthew 5:48

King James Version

48 Be ye therefore perfect, 

even as your Father which is in heaven 

is perfect.

Apostle Paul warned us:

Hebrews 12:13-16

King James Version

13 And make straight paths for your feet, 

lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; 

but let it rather be healed.

14 Follow peace with all men, 

and holiness, 

without which no man shall see the Lord:

15 Looking diligently lest any man fail 

of the grace of God; 

lest any root of bitterness 

springing up trouble you, 

and thereby many be defiled;

16 Lest there be any fornicator, 

or profane person, as Esau, 

who for one morsel of meat 

sold his birthright.

When your heart truly belongs to the LORD, you welcome such moments of correction.

You cannot bear to grieve the LORD.

You cannot bear hurting others, through your own ignorance.

Every life that breathes on this earth always has room for correction.

True followers of JESUS tremble at GOD's WORD.

Hebrews 10:31

31 It is a fearful thing to fall 

into the hands of the living God.

Hebrews 12:24-29

King James Version

24 And to Jesus 

the mediator of the new covenant, 

and to the blood of sprinkling, 

that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. 

For if they escaped not 

who refused him that spake on earth, 

much more shall not we escape, 

if we turn away from him 

that speaketh from heaven:

26 Whose voice then shook the earth: 

but now he hath promised, saying, 

Yet once more I shake not the earth only, 

but also heaven.

27 And this word, Yet once more, 

signifieth the removing of those things 

that are shaken, as of things that are made, 

that those things which cannot be shaken 

may remain.

28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom 

which cannot be moved, 

let us have grace, 

whereby we may serve God acceptably 

with reverence and godly fear:

29 For our God is a consuming fire.

When your sin is called out, immediately, true followers of JESUS become contrite.

How could we have disobeyed GOD's laws?

How could we have hurt others so?

How could we have been so blind?

We immediately thank the SPIRIT of GOD Who exposed our sin.

He works through ministers of CHRIST, exposing any form of hypocrisy.

Because GOD loves us, He wants us to be on the right path.

And for sinners, it is the path of repentance.

2 Peter 3:9

King James Version

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, 

as some men count slackness; 

but is longsuffering to us-ward, 

not willing that any should perish, 

but that all should come to repentance.

Welcome such rebukes, and corrections, for we are all being "refined":

Malachi 3:2

King James Version

2 But who may abide the day of his coming? 

and who shall stand when he appeareth? 

for he is like a refiner's fire, 

and like fullers' soap:

As with every sin called out, shame, and acknowledgment, follow.

It may be a shock to your system, but imagine the pain you've caused others -- usually through ignorance, or indifference.

Let it not be indifference.

True repentance causes shame.

You become aware of how you've disobeyed GOD, and how you've hurt others, and maybe even destroyed their lives.

Repentance, and reparations, become foremost in your heart.

The path has always been "holiness".

We need to be worthy of the LORD.

We need to be worthy of the BLOOD of the LAMB.

We need to be worthy of the CROSS.

And if we momentarily stray, are corrupted, or are blinded, we need to get back on track.

We need to walk back with SPIRIT.

As true followers of JESUS, we would never want to lose that anointing.

The enemy waits in ambush, ALL the time.

He wants us to fall, fail, and fumble in our walk with GOD.

We pray, as king David prayed:

Psalm 51:10-12

King James Version

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; 

and renew a right spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from thy presence; 

and take not thy holy spirit from me.

12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; 

and uphold me with thy free spirit.

And after repenting, what does one do?

We sin no more.

A heartfelt example was pointed out by the LORD JESUS:

John 8:1-9

8 Jesus went unto the mount of Olives.

2 And early in the morning 

he came again into the temple, 

and all the people came unto him; 

and he sat down, and taught them.

3 And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him 

a woman taken in adultery; 

and when they had set her in the midst,

4 They say unto him, Master, 

this woman was taken in adultery, 

in the very act.

5 Now Moses in the law commanded us, 

that such should be stoned: 

but what sayest thou?

6 This they said, tempting him, 

that they might have to accuse him. 

But Jesus stooped down, 

and with his finger wrote on the ground, 

as though he heard them not.

7 So when they continued asking him, 

he lifted up himself, and said unto them, 

He that is without sin among you, 

let him first cast a stone at her.

8 And again he stooped down, 

and wrote on the ground.

9 And they which heard it, 

being convicted by their own conscience, 

went out one by one, 

beginning at the eldest, 

even unto the last: 

and Jesus was left alone, 

and the woman standing in the midst.

The most healing part?

John 8:10-11

10 When Jesus had lifted up himself, 

and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, 

Woman, where are those thine accusers? 

hath no man condemned thee?

11 She said, No man, Lord. 

And Jesus said unto her, 

Neither do I condemn thee: 

go, and sin no more.

Such is the LORD's mercy.

A never-ending love, and correction, for fallen man.

As such, welcome ministers of GOD who call out your sin.

It's pure GRACE from GOD when they do.

The humble heart will always recognize such messengers.

THANK GOD for the love, sent through such ministers.

They do minister to our soul.

That we may do right in GOD's eyes.

We are all here to help each other, through Scripture.

There is a right way for us to correct each other.

As only JESUS could show us how:

Matthew 18:15-20

15 Moreover if thy brother 

shall trespass against thee, 

go and tell him his fault 

between thee and him alone: 

if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

16 But if he will not hear thee, 

then take with thee one or two more, 

that in the mouth of two or three witnesses 

every word may be established.

17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, 

tell it unto the church: 

but if he neglect to hear the church, 

let him be unto thee as an heathen man 

and a publican.

18 Verily I say unto you, 

Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth 

shall be bound in heaven: 

and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth 

shall be loosed in heaven.

19 Again I say unto you, 

That if two of you shall agree on earth 

as touching any thing that they shall ask, 

it shall be done for them of my Father 

which is in heaven.

20 For where two or three 

are gathered together in my name, 

there am I in the midst of them.

I am grateful for such correction.

GOD is truly merciful.

He doesn't want me to perish.

He sent a minister.

CALIFORNIA under JUDGMENT?

 Ezekiel 25:17

17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them 

with furious rebukes; 

and they shall know that I am the Lord, 

when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

A week ago, northern California was hit by huge waves.

Destroying a 150-foot wharf at Santa Cruz.

In 2007, I dreamt parts of northern California "missing".

All these I wrote on "CALIFORNIA in danger?" last week.

Here's an excerpt near the end of that article:

"There's something happening in California.

Satan's come to roost.

Or perhaps, he's already been there for ages.

The last stronghold of resistance against GOD, 

and Trump?"

Then the other day, I thought to myself, northern California's been "hit".

Southern California seems "quiet".

Not so, if the events of Tuesday's Palisades fire were to be considered.

With the strongest Santa Ana winds, in a decade.

Reporters who have covered California's wildfires said this was the worst.

So far, nearly 50,000 acres have burned.

Over 17,000 acres in Palisades; 10,000 in Eaton.

The fire has also gone through Malibu, Pasadena, and now Hollywood Hills.

About 130,000 people have been asked to evacuate.

Five people have died at Eaton.

Three million people without electricity.

Fourteen hundred firefighters on the task.

Some having stayed up for 96 hours.

Everyone hoping the winds would ease up.

Zero percent containment.

The 50-100 mph winds make it impossible for helicopters and planes to fly so they could douse the fire.

Thousands of people have fled, leaving their homes, and cars behind.

The cars had to be bulldozed, so firetrucks can pass through.

Even president Biden had to cancel his Coachella Valley visit yesterday.

He'll reschedule next week.

What forces are at work here?

SPIRIT gave me an idea:

Psalm 11:6

King James Version

6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, 

fire and brimstone, 

and an horrible tempest: 

this shall be the portion of their cup.

Is California "wicked"?

Trump was rejected here.

Kamala and Walz got 54 electoral votes each.

The highest, compared to other states.

Proud, proud California.

Openly defying GOD, and Trump.

Governor Gavin Newsom allows same-gender marriage.

He also approved abortion, and sanctuary cities.

Newsom and Kamala are son and daughter of California.

And they intend to defy Trump's policies.

There's Hollywood, and gay pride.

At the last elections, many entertainers supported Kamala at her rallies.

Many Hollywood folks have turned away GOD, and Scripture.

Here's a shocking short video sample.

I felt GOD was not about to let that go.

At one of her rallies, Kamala turned away JESUS.

And told the LORD's supporters to move to the "smaller" rally.

"Down the street".

But GOD also put lots of born again pastors in California.

Who work really hard to get His WORD out.

Outnumbered, but not out-SCRIPTURED.

The "battle" is on.

Victor Davis Hanson also had something to say on Democrats.

And the left's "hold" on California.

Hanson is also a California native.

And a classicist, and military historian.

As well as a respected conservative political commentator.

To my mind, California is like an overgrown kid who refuses to grow up.

Refusing all attempts to rehabilitate, or reform, according to GOD's will.

She prefers her left and woke ideology.

Comfortable in her Catholic churches, and missions.

Which need reform, too.

Obama, Hillary, Biden, Kamala, and Newsom make sure California remains defiant to Trump.

But the latter has also garnered more voters during the last elections.

They've had enough of the diabolical five.

The "blue" state is turning "red".

Thus, the fire?

Resistance is to their own peril, of course.

Because GOD chose Trump to be president.

For the perfect year, for His perfect reason.

GOD knows Trump cares about the American people.

Trump wants real change, and has formed a strong team.

Long before he even sits down at the oval office.

He knows the grave danger America is in.

GOD knows Trump is far from perfect.

But He chose this man to serve.

California must rethink her position.

Her size is not necessarily might.

Her wealth is not necessarily perpetual.

Her elite are not necessarily correct.

Have you noticed, the fire razed elite neighborhoods?

Man is nothing compared to GOD's power.

California must repent of her many sins.

JESUS was clear:

Mark 1:15

King James Version

15 And saying, 

The time is fulfilled, 

and the kingdom of God is at hand: 

repent ye, 

and believe the gospel.

As I write this post, the HOLY SPIRIT leads me to another warning to the woke left, and the diabolical five (Obama, Biden, Hillary, Kamala, and Newsom), for they are responsible for the California population.

These set of verses applied to Israel, once before.

Now, they apply to the diabolical five:

as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, 

and ye were as a firebrand 

plucked out of the burning: 

yet have ye not returned unto me, 

saith the Lord.

prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

WHILE we STILL can

 

Ephesians 2:8-9

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; 

and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

We must seek GOD, while we still can.

We must review our lives, while we still can.

We must repent of our sins, while we still can.

We must acknowledge our sins, while we still can.

We only have today to do so.

Every day is pure GRACE from GOD.

Giving us a chance to wake up.

To turn to Him.

To know more about Him.

To be taught about JESUS.

To be taught by the HOLY SPIRIT.

To live by Scripture.

Today is a gift from GOD.

As every day has been.

We are to be grateful for such a gift.

For, at any given moment, JESUS can come for His faithful.

The Rapture can happen, ANY moment GOD chooses.

Matthew 24:40-42

40 Then shall two be in the field; 

the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; 

the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: 

for ye know not what hour 

your Lord doth come.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

shall descend from heaven 

with a shout, 

with the voice of the archangel, 

and with the trump of God: 

and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Which, no one in their right mind, would want to be part of.

And yet, GOD gives us a chance to be with JESUS.

Every single day, while we're still on earth

And be saved from all that.

Why continue as you are doing?

Why remain in the dark?

Why continue being willful?

Why rely on your own wisdom?

JESUS already came for us.

He died, was buried, and rose on the third day.

Through His blood, we have been saved from our sins.

Through His death, He has conquered death, and the devil.

Through His resurrection, we have the promise of eternal life.

Today is your day to choose.

To continue as you do.

Or to have a change of heart.

And make that complete turnaround.

And start being a true child of God.

John 1:12-13

to them gave he power to become the sons of God, 

even to them that believe on his name:

not of blood, 

nor of the will of the flesh, 

nor of the will of man, 

but of God.

To be born  of GOD, we need to be BORN AGAIN.

Except a man be born again, 

he cannot see the kingdom of God.

How can a man be born when he is old?

SEEK GOD, "while he may be found".

CALL upon Him, "while he is near".

Isaiah 55:6-7

GOD humbles Nebuchadnezzar

 

Daniel 4:4-5

King James Version

4 I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, 

and flourishing in my palace:

5 I saw a dream which made me afraid, 

and the thoughts upon my bed 

and the visions of my head troubled me.

This is the story of king Nebuchadnezzar.

Whose pride caused him to fall.

And fall, he did.

Greatly.

Starting with a dream:

Daniel 4:10-16

10 Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; 

I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, 

and the height thereof was great.

11 The tree grew, and was strong, 

and the height thereof reached unto heaven, 

and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:

12 The leaves thereof were fair, 

and the fruit thereof much, 

and in it was meat for all: 

the beasts of the field had shadow under it, 

and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof,

Nebuchadnezzar ordered the "wise men of Babylon", to interpret the dream.

Daniel 4:6-7

6 Therefore made I a decree 

to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before me, 

that they might make known unto me 

the interpretation of the dream.

7 Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, 

the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers: 

and I told the dream before them; 

but they did not make known unto me

the interpretation thereof.

Since no one could tell him, he then sought out Daniel.

Daniel 4:8-9

8 But at the last Daniel came in before me, 

whose name was Belteshazzar, 

according to the name of my God,

And here's prophet Daniel's interpretation:

Daniel pleaded with the king:

Of course, it all came to pass:

Daniel 4:29-33

29 At the end of twelve months 

he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon.

30 The king spake, and said, 

Is not this great Babylon, 

that I have built for the house of the kingdom 

by the might of my power, 

and for the honour of my majesty?

31 While the word was in the king's mouth, 

there fell a voice from heaven, saying, 

O king Nebuchadnezzar, 

to thee it is spoken; 

The kingdom is departed from thee.

32 And they shall drive thee from men, 

and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: 

they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, 

and seven times shall pass over thee, 

until thou know that the most High ruleth

 in the kingdom of men, 

and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled 

upon Nebuchadnezzar: 

and he was driven from men, 

and did eat grass as oxen, 

and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, 

till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, 

and his nails like birds' claws.

Painful lesson learned.

And it went on for seven years.

Now, it was time to get right with GOD.

Which the humbled king did.

Daniel 4:34-37

34 And at the end of the days 

I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, 

and mine understanding returned unto me, 

and I blessed the most High, 

and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, 

whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, 

and his kingdom is from generation to generation:

35 And all the inhabitants of the earth 

are reputed as nothing: 

and he doeth according to his will 

in the army of heaven, 

and among the inhabitants of the earth: 

and none can stay his hand, 

or say unto him, What doest thou?

36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; 

and for the glory of my kingdom, 

mine honour and brightness returned unto me; 

and my counsellors and my lords sought unto me; 

and I was established in my kingdom, 

and excellent majesty was added unto me.

37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar 

praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, 

all whose works are truth, 

and his ways judgment: 

and those that walk in pride 

he is able to abase.

The dream came true after 12 months.

The king suffered for seven years.

That's how GOD teaches the proud.

His will be done.

Always.
